YouTube Audio Books

Had never heard of it. Delighted. [addendum, below]

I have just finished watching the most recent release of the 1937 Robert Capra-directed film, a Blu-Ray DVD with an additional minute of footage added since the restored version released twenty years earlier. Such a wonderful film!

I said to myself, “You know, you have never read the James Hilton novel!”

For reasons I will not go into, I no longer read with the ease and enjoyment that once I did. So, I checked around for an audio release and I found this one.

ADDENDUM

See brackets for original addendum.

Having a premium plan for YouTube give me access to at least this one audio book WITHOUT ads.

[Alas, only as I began to listen did I discover that there is an add about every five minutes or so. It’s a real spoiler. I subscribe to YouTube Music. Too bad they don’t put the books in music! Anyway, I’m still looking around for a good source.]
