I was asked to scan a few slides left by Peace Corps Volunteer, Richard Bodman, RIP. There are some fine images and I will post from time to time as get them scanned and processed (mostly cleaning away dust marks).
Dick made this from an Ariana airline flight and just happened to be at the right place at the right time. I assume the flight had just left Kabul, Afghanistan International Airport and the picture likely dates to 1970.
